I am glad to hear that your freedom has returned. both my children were bottle fed, not completely out of choice but I had some breast feeding issues. They have both grown into strong, healthy wonderful children and very close with their mama.

I am glad breast feeding is going well with you. When my children were infants, unfortunately i had horrible issues and could not breast feed. My pediatrician assured me that the vitamins in the formulae were good for them. They have grown up into TG into 2 healthy and strong children and i have an extremely close bond with both of them. My children and I love each other more than the world.

Hiya. I came here via blogrush. I agree with you that the first 3 months is the hardest. With my first I never really quite got the hang of breastfeeding but hung on for 1 1/2 years. The second took 2 whole months to latch on but after that we became the perfect breastfeeding partners (mum and baby) for 3 years plus. Weaning was painless too. Breastfeeding is wonderful. :)

I'm not usually so modest, but when it comes to breastfeeding I am. I think it's because I'm afraid of being confronted by someone that thinks it's sick/gross/whatever, so if I'm out in public I just go back to my car. I guess I feel like it's safer there.

My baby is a few days shy of four months, I still don't love breastfeeding. I breastfed my first daughter at least part time until 5 1/2 months. This time I'm determined to stick it out and she's only breastfed. I keep hoping to like it, but I just don't. Makes me feel selfish. :( I'm glad you love it though! :)

hi there, i am one breastfeeding mother and i proudly breastfeed in public.

it is hard in the first place, but you just have to be confidence to do so.

at least, you know you are trying to provide the very best for your baby.

there are several tips on public breastfeeding like this one

http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/breastfeeding/nursing_public.html

anyway, if you still are facing difficulties, then i might want to suggest you to pump the milk into a bottle.

either way, it is for the sake of the best for the baby, ain;t it?

good luck.
